Payson spends half the year in Kullu valley with his wife, writer Kamla K. Kapur. For last 4 years My Himachal in association with Jibhi CHAI (a part of Lady Willingdon Hospital (LWH), Manali has been organizing health melas in Kullu valley and Payson has been taking care of these melas on behalf of My Himachal.
